I'm a software development professional with nearly three decades of experience, currently serving as a distinguished engineer at Thomson Reuters Labs where I work in applied research and development of AI-based solutions for professionals. A fervent advocate for open source, and a passion for Linux led me to author the TurboLinux Bible in 2001. These days, I use Mac OS. I enjoy science fiction and fantasy. I'm a husband, father, and a cycling enthusiast. My life is so much richer for it.
